From Away

Dear Readers:

I'm away this week, feeding on southern flavors and tropical warmth.
I'll be back next week--not to watch the tulips grow, at least not yet-- but to resume our quest of culinary feasts and food finds.

John - just wondering if you might know what happened to Bella Cucina? I don't know if you ever ate there, but I always enjoyed my meals there. Then one day last fall I walked by and it was closed, for good apparently. It seems to me they must have been open for at least five years, which is pretty good longevity in the restaurant business.
