Dunkin Donuts 553 Coffee By Design, Portland 250 It has recently dawned on us here at the newspaper that because of the incredible popularity and marketing of Dunkin Donuts, nobody really knows how to spell those round little treats you can also get at the ill-spelled Krispy Kreme. And I'm not taking about crullers. Anyway, Coffee By Design, a very local coffeehouse with a cool vibe and several Portland-area locations, was by far the top vote-getter among Maine coffee places. They often have local art on the wall as well.
