MaineToday.com will be sending a sixth "Wildcard" band to the finals - and your votes decide who goes. Between the online poll and the cell phone texting, it's up to you to support the band that you think rocks. The online poll allows one vote per computer - so choose wisely! Find another computer if someone has already voted using the computer you're on. While cheaters can always find ways around polling systems, we pay close attention to the voting. If there's an unrealistic spike or change in the results, an band can be disqualified from the "Wildcard" runnings. Our suggestion - don't mess around with the system. The text voting poll allows you one vote per band (thus, 21 votes this time). You can vote for your top five, your single-most favorite, or everyone performing. Once your cell number is used, it cannot vote for the same band again. You can erase your vote by texting "stop" to 21321 - though this will erase ALL votes for ALL bands. Again, the tool prevents cheaters - and we have an up-close view of the traffic - so don't mess with the system. Every vote counts! Support these young artists for the hard work they've put in, and for getting out there to showcase their talents. If you have any questions/concerns, email Shannon Bryan.
