After playing a few shows as a pop punk/acoustic rock band titled A Well Known Secret, Sam Ellis, Jacob Forbes, and Matt McKay thirsted for a heavier, deeper sound. With the development of a new sound and new music came the creation of a new name, and thus Of Riots and Outbreaks was born kicking and screaming into Maine's music scene. With only a few gigs under their belt with their newer, harder sound, Of Riots and Outbreaks has just gotten started and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon.
