Lyric Music Theater blog Lyric Music Theater is community theater at its finest. We are dedicated to producing quality musicals for the entertainment of audiences throughout Southern Maine. Lyric Music Theater was founded in 1952 and produces four musicals each season, from September to May, in the Cedric Thomas Playhouse at 176 Sawyer Street.
